Publig Ugly #1 is a comic story written and drawn by William Van Horn. It features Donald Duck, Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck, Daisy Duck and Gyro Gearloose, and also mentions Waddlemore. It is a sequel to It's in the Bag!, taking place one month later.
Plot[]
One month after the disastrous Halloween that landed twenty tonnes of chocolate cremes in his garden, Donald Duck and his nephews do their best to try and get rid of the heaps of candy before authorities fine Donald for this "public ugliness". Gyro Gearloose's new anti-gravity raygun seems like a godsend, but can Donald be trusted with using it responsibly? (Probably not.)
Behind the scenes[]
This story was first published in 1990 in Donald Duck Adventures #8, and was then reprinted in Donald Duck's Halloween Scream #1. Interestingly, the story, meant to take place one month after It's in the Bag!, was indeed released one month after Bag!.
